Reverend Rachel Vione

Rachel began her ministry at the First Presbyterian Church of Northport in August of 2013 as the Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries. She was ordained at FPC on March 1, 2015 (in a snowstorm)! and became our Assistant Pastor for Children, Youth and Families. In August of 2016, Rachel became our Interim Pastor. In November of 2020, the congregation voted to call Rev. Rachel Vione as the next Installed Pastor and Head of Staff.   After a successful career in the business world in New York City, Rachel attended Princeton Theological Seminary where she graduated with a Master of Divinity and received awards for excellence in both preaching and homiletics. Rachel is originally from the Midwest, is a huge sports fan and loves to cheer on her favorite Chicago sports teams. (Go Bears!)

Rachel and Joe raised their two children (now adults) in Garden City and moved to Northport in 2023.
